TED

TED is a highly responsive graphical user environment (GUE) that simplifies UNIX for the novice and enhances Motif application development for the expert.

TED is the CDE (Common Desktop Environment) from the COSE consortium, which is based on VUE. VUE and TED provide your path to CDE.

TED is built on industry standards: UNIX, the X Window System, and OSF/Motif. It lets you perform drag-and-drop processing and graphical file manipulation. And, it is the only product of its kind that provides multiple workspaces (virtual screens) that are fully integrated with the desktop.
